The day after Devin was completed with his term, we headed on a spare of the moment ride down the coast of Oregon. We had to go to Portland for an appointment and decided it would be fun to go home down the coast. We stopped in Tillamook and had a fun time exploring the famous cheese plant and then stopped along the way at a few different beaches. We could not have asked for better weather. It was beautiful. The best part was being together and having Daddy with us.
I love this picture! It catches the moment perfect, although about 30 seconds after this was taken Dylan stepped off the rock and landed in a puddle that went up to his thighs. Dylan and I ran to the car while Lindsey explored the beach for seashells. She talks about finding those shells almost everyday. The second she got home she ran into the bathroom and carefully cleaned every shell and wiped them each dry with a paper towel. Her collection sits beside her bed and is never touched by anyone else!
