Halloween

This year for Halloween we had a Tinker Bell and Buzz Lightyear.  

 We went trick or treating this year with our friends the Elliott's.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a fun Pumpkin patch in Corvallis that had a corn maze, a hayride to pick your pumpkin and fun hay sculptures to play on!

Visit to the Beach

The fun part about having visitors, you get to take them to all your favorite spots.  We made our way to Newport to show Michele and Wayne around.  We lucked out with good weather and were able to go to the beach, the Marine Science Center and a light house.  Not to mention the 4 trips we made over the big bridge :)

Smith Family Visit

My sister Michele and her awesome, sweet family came to visit us in the middle of October for three days.  It was wonderful to have her here!  Thank you for coming all this way with three small children just to visit us!

Kite Festival

 We went to the annual Lincoln City Kite Festival the first weekend in October.  What a neat and fun experience it was to see professionals fly kites to music, and see gigantic kites in the sky.  We were also able to find a nice beach to enjoy the sun.

Picinic

One evening we ventured out to a new and exciting area in Oregon that we had never been.  It was fun to explore and get out together.  It was a perfect evening of hamburgers and smores.

Portland Zoo

We had to take advantage of a the last few weeks Devin had before school started.  We decided that we would check one of items off our Things to do While in Oregon list... The Portland Zoo.  Dylan was one happy boy surrounded by the things he loves the most, animals.  Devin and I concluded that we think it was the first time for both of us in seeing a Hippo in person.  What strange and interesting creatures they are.
