Climbing

The Twin's favorite thing to do right now is climb. I didn't realize this until I looked at all my pictures. Most of them were of Dylan and Lindsey climbing in things. Mostly things they're not supposed to :) Here are some pics of their mischievous adventures of climbing.

Twins = Trouble
Twins = Double Trouble (Now Lindsey's favorite thing to do is stand up once in the drawer and get the TV. Naughty Naughty. that is why I do not have pictures.)

Sledding

A few weeks ago we had a nice big snow fall and decided to go sledding down our driveway. The only advantage to having a driveway on a hill is the fact that it is the perfect sledding hill for one year olds. It took awhile for the twins to get used to the idea of going fast down the hill but they eventually go the hang of it and enjoyed themselves!

Dylan never did cracked a smile but at least we got the binky out of his mouth. That told us he was starting to enjoy it :)

Oregon State Here We Come!!!!!

Our exciting news has finally arrived after waiting for several months to know the answer. Devin was selected for the Long Term Training benefit his work gives out each year. He will be getting his Doctorate in Public Health! We will be moving in the fall and are excited for this opportunity. Although we are sad to leave AK, we will be back after he is finished continuing on with his current job.

Fun in the Balls

For Christmas Grandma and Grandpa Pehrson gave the twins this blow up train with tons of small plastic balls. Needless to say they LOVE IT!!!!! Here are some pictures that prove this was a great present!

Love Being Outdoors

This past weekend the weather warmed up enough for us to go skiing. We had a great time being outside. We had beautiful clear skies and the sun was out making the snow covered trees shine. What a wonderful way to spend our Saturday!

This video shows the relief of being finished with the 3 mile ski. Although we enjoyed the ski, the trail had a lot of steep up and downs. Devin managed to pull the babies most of the way but then we switched because of exhaustion. So when the end came it was a beautiful thing :)

The Twins Turn One!!!

Dylan and Lindsey celebrated their first birthday on Dec. 30. We had a nice little party at home with Grandma and Grandpa Lucas. They enjoyed eating their cupcakes and opening all their presents. What a fun way to end the first year!

Christmas in Alaska!

We had such a nice Christmas at home. The twins continued to enjoy the excitement of opening presents. While watching a new Sesame street movie they both fell asleep from exhaustion. It was adorable. We then went to Grandma and Grandpa Lucas' house. It was a wonderful and great Christmas.

More Fun at Grandma and Grandpa Pehrson's

The trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house was full of excitement. We were able to go on a sleigh ride, have our own Christmas, Go to the annual Pehrson Christmas Party, and on top of everything else had a little birthday party for the twins. It was a fun trip! Lots of memories have been made and will always be cherished!

Visiting FAM

Our next stop was Lewiston! It was great to be home. My mom was able to take several days off and my sister Michele was able to spend every minute she could with us! The twins LOVED being at Grandma and Grandpa Pehrson's house. With all the toys and Uncle Scottie's Sesame Street they were right at home. They loved being with Aunt Shell and Olivia. Livvy adored the twins and the twins soaked up the attention. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us come and take over your house! Thanks Shell for spending every minute you could! Thanks Wayne for letting her! Beautiful Lewiston sunset.
