Life here in Alaska today is cold. There is no doubt about it! When your inside, it beautiful! Sunny, blue skies, the snow shimmering but the second you walk outside you have to catch your breath because of the negative tempatures hitting you like a brick. Today they say that temp low is -15. On a positive note there is no wind chilling you to the bone making the tempeture colder.
I can not complain because of the clear skies we are able to have a wonderful commute to and from work. The mountains in the area which we live (Palmer) are breathtaking and beautiful. Every night as the sun sets I am always amazed at the beauty that is here in Alaska. Although our commute is on an average 50 min Devin and I both feel it is worth it. Living away from the city relieves a lot of stress!
Well I hope you all have a great weekend and hopefully I will be able to get some good pictures with the clear skies to post.
