Sweet Moments

When I see moments when Dylan and Lindsey show their sweet love for each other I can't help but smile. It's nice to know, that in fact they do love each other and in the end like having the other around. Thank goodness for these moments!

Finally Clear Weather!!!

We really have been taking advantage of every moment that the sun is out. The twins have found out how much they really enjoy being outside exploring, throwing rocks in the water and picking flowers. Love spring!! Crossing our fingers for more sunshine!

Crazy Life

Here are some silly pictures of my silly kids. It has been raining a lot lately so to occupy their time, the twins think of some entertaining ways to keep from getting bored.

Spring Break: Silver Falls

Our last family day trip was at a place called Silver Falls. In total there are 10 falls that could be hiked to. We went to two of the falls that were short hikes from the road. It was remarkable. We were able to hike down to a fall and even behind it. Neither one of us has had the opportunity to do that before. It was a fun and enjoyable trip.

North Falls. The twins hike themselves about a half a mile to this fall. They had fun "exploring like Dora" in Lindsey's words.
This tiny waterfall fascinated the twins. They sat there for several minutes studying it.
The South Falls. This is the one we were able to hike behind. None of the pictures turned out very good behind it. The pictures does not do this waterfall justice.
For some reason this day every picture that was taken of me I made some weird smile. Unfortunately Lindsey was in everyone with me so I will post this because she looks so cute.

Spring Break: Newport

One day we to a trip over to Newport to see some of the indoor sights since it was pouring rain. We had so much fun at the Marina and Lighthouse there.

Spring Break: Park Fun

We had a great time during spring break! It was so nice to have Daddy all to ourselves. One of the fun activities that we did was to hang out at the park.

Devin

Devin's time has been consumed with reading, exams and constant studying. The moments that he isn't busy doing that, his joy (besides his family) is flying his new helicopters. For Christmas he got a small house helicopter he loved it so much that he purchased a bigger one to use outside. It's been a fun family event. Dylan absolutely loves watching Daddy fly the helicopters.

Lindsey

Our Little Miss Lindsey has been entertaining us with all her new stories and bright ideas. She has been so much fun watching as she figures out how to talk and tell jokes and be funny. One of her hobbies right now is to fill all of her purses and backpacks full of treasures that she finds throughout the day. It's fun to look inside to see what she might have in there. Sometimes I will open a cabinet drawer or find in my shoe her sweet little treasures. Her biggest thing right now is to pretend that she is a princess or grownup. She leaves everyday to go to work with a hug or a kiss. She likes to cook in her kitchen and make breakfast. Mostly right now Lindsey loves to dress up. It will be a while since I have heard from her and will peek in her room or come out to show me her new outfits. Beautifully put together with her hats, and high heels and purses and necklaces. I never thought I would have so much fun with this little girl. She sure knows how to brighten my day.

Dylan

It has been longer than I would like since I have put a post up. My sister-in-law Lillie had such a great idea on her blog by dedicating a post to each member of their family with an update. So Thank you Lillie for the idea.

Mr. Dylan is doing very well. He is my sweet boy when he is feeling well. This winter has been rough on him with getting sick. Since December he has had two double ear infections and what seems like a never ending cough and runny nose. Things are looking up since Spring is here! (except everyone here tells me that if you move to Corvallis and don't have allergies, you'll leave Corvallis with them:) He is all boy!! He loves to be outside exploring new things. It has been raining a lot lately so he has enjoyed playing with his dinosaurs and making baskets in the basketball hoop, most recentlyhe has had a lot of fun flying Daddy's remote control helicopter. Dylan's favorite thing mostly to do is sing. He is singing when he's eating, bathing, walking around and in the car, basically our house is full of his sweet songs. His favorites to sing right now are: Wheels on the Bus, Row Row Row your Boat, Where is Thumbkin and The Farmer in the Dell, Oh and we can't forget Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam.
